Game Description from G5: The city’s mundane rhythm is suddenly disrupted by the emergence of a flying island high in the sky. Though the island initially appeared to be deserted, the citizens realize that they are not alone in the universe. Before long, the island becomes a tourist magnet, increasing revenues and crime. Then one day, Mary, who works at the city orphanage goes missing after a beam of light is seen coming from the island above. Explore the creepy island using the clues Mary left, make friends with the spirits of the island’s people, solve challenging puzzles, find missing crystals and take your friend back home in this absorbing adventure.
Hidden object “HO games” are a dime a dozen on iTunes. Relatively easy, lacking in story and generally boring, G5 Entertainment broke the mold with Inbetween Land HD.
The game begins like any other day until a giant flying island appears and takes your friend Mary in a beam of light. Searching for clues, you head to the orphanage where Mary works to begin your quest. A mix of puzzle challenges. as well as hidden object games. reveal useful items needed to advance your storyline.
Visually, this game reminds me of MYST, but that’s where the comparison ends. The puzzles and hidden object games are quite easy (almost too easy) and the game is too short in my opinion. Made for iOS, the touch-to-click action worked well with the gameplay and the video was flawless. There was a minor audio glitch towards the beginning of the game but it only lasted a few moments and was quickly forgotten.
Inbetween Land HD by G5 is a fun and engaging game with a good story, easy navigation and stunning graphics.
Recommended for anyone who loves hidden object games or just time wasting games on the iOS systems.
